What will you be doing?
Barclays Capital Inc. seeks Vice President, Banking – Healthcare in New York, NY (multiple positions available):
Monitor transactions, market trends, financial statements, industry, regulatory, and economic information to work on assets and assignments across the industry.
Work directly with Managing Directors and oversee Analysts.
Participate in projects such as company valuation, strategic advisory, and debt and equity offerings.
Develop investment scenarios, presentation materials, complete valuation analyses, business plans, and financial projections.
Manage various quantitative analyses, including LBO models, DCF, valuation, M&A analysis, and credit analysis for client presentations.
Perform financial modeling, industry research, coordinate processes related to financings or sales, and assist in preparing memoranda and proposals.
May telecommute.
Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $250,000; Maximum/yr: $275,000. This includes only base salary and excludes other compensation or benefits. This position is eligible for incentives under Barclays Employee Referral Program. Purpose of the role Build and maintain client relationships, understand their needs and goals, and develop appropriate investment banking solutions. Accountabilities Develop strong relationships with clients by understanding their business and industry trends. Identify opportunities to expand the bank's client base and generate new business. Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on client companies. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on transaction documentation. Work with teams like Capital Markets, Research, and Risk Management to provide solutions. Engage with clients on energy transition and sustainability strategies. Vice President Expectations Contribute to strategy, manage resources, and ensure policy compliance. If managing a team, define roles, plan for future needs, and oversee performance and development. Demonstrate leadership behaviors to foster a positive environment. As an individual contributor, serve as a subject matter expert and guide team members. Advise stakeholders on functional and strategic impacts. Manage risks and strengthen controls. Collaborate across functions to align business strategies.
