Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Job Title: Recruiter

Compensation: $35-40/hr Contract to Hire

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with operations leaders to understand driver hiring needs and workforce planning.
• Source candidates using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and local community outreach.
• Manage the full recruiting cycle: posting jobs, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews, and extending offers.
• Maintain strong pipelines of qualified CDL and non-CDL drivers.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, background checks, and pre-employment screenings.
• Represent at job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach programs.
• Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates to management.
• Collaborate with HR and safety teams to ensure smooth onboarding and orientation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience (driver or skilled trades recruiting preferred).
• Strong knowledge of sourcing methods, ATS systems, and recruiting best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA compliance requirements is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.
