Overview
This position is for a seriously dedicated Linux SysAdmin. This is an onsite position suited to local candidates in Phoenix, AZ area. The Linux System Administrator is part of the IT team and this individual will design, build, maintain and troubleshoot a secure server and storage infrastructure. This position requires a talented individual with a history of exceptional professional achievement, combined with solid real-world experience, to deploy and administer leading edge technology. The ideal candidate must be a technically savvy, detail-oriented individual with strong leadership / visionary skills, who can function with minimal oversight, in our 7x24x365 environment. Responsibilities
System Administration : Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers Active Directory and LDAP : Integration of Red Hat Linux systems with Active Directory or LDAP environments User and group synchronization Authentication and authorization management Installation, configuration, and management of Red Hat Virtualization (RHV) or other virtualization platforms Containerization : Experience with container orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform (a plus) Experience with cloud-based infrastructure management (a plus) Imaging and Updates : Experience with operating system and application imaging techniques Implementation and management of automated update processes Experience with NetApp storage solutions (a plus) Management and configuration of NetApp SAN storage Other Duties : Share 24 / 7 on-call support with other team members Server Hardware selection and implementation Provide support to Development and Operations teams System log monitoring and alerts Provide training and support as appropriate Create and maintain technical documentation Evaluate and recommend technology products and services Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Qualifications
