Position Description Dr. Civelli’s laboratory at UC Irvine is seeking applications for a full or part-time Specialist. The lab focuses on discovering bioactive compounds from therapeutic plants and studying their effects through behavioral models. The successful candidate will use behavioral models in rodents to explore the functions of compounds isolated from therapeutic plants, engaging in cutting-edge pharmacological research. In addition to basic qualifications, candidates should have an interest in pharmacology and natural product research, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a willingness to participate actively in research meetings.
