Texas Health Denton offers a range of services including Cancer Care, Neuroscience, Orthopedics, Emergency Care, Robotic Surgery, Stroke Care, Women & Infants Care, Interventional Radiology and more. It is a Joint Commission-accredited Primary (Level II) Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center, a Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, and a Magnet designated hospital. The ground floor houses a breast imaging center, outpatient physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation and an internal medicine residency program. What You’ll Need
Associate's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science or Chemical, Physical or Biological science preferred; must be attained within 3 months of hire as required. Or another education equivalent to an associate's degree in a laboratory science or medical technology (must include at least 60 hours or equivalent from an accredited institution including at least either 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses or 24 semester hours of science courses with at least 6 hours chemistry, 6 hours biology, and 12 hours in chemistry/biology/medical laboratory technology in any combination prior to hire). Internship in an approved Medical Technology training program is required. Two (2) years of experience in a Medical Laboratory is preferred. MLT(ASCP) - Medical Lab Technician MLT(ASCP) or equivalent (AMT, AAB, HHS, NCA, HEW, CLS-CA, FL, NY state license, Philippine Board of Technical Technology) Registry must be attained within 6 months of hire date. MLT(ASCP) is preferred and required within 6 months of hire. What You'll Do
