The Compensation Analyst is responsible for preparing salary worksheets, reviewing, editing, and formatting job descriptions. The position will audit position requirements, determine and audit exempt status, and determine pay grade. Assists with compensation redesign efforts by participating in various components of compensation innovation including conducting research, leading discussions, preparing proposals, and communicating with project stakeholders and leadership. Explores salary software capabilities to ensure the district is utilizing it to its maximum potential. The Compensation Analyst is responsible for managing personnel actions on the Board Agenda including creates, deletes, position upgrades and position title changes. This position is responsible for verifying and processing degree changes and salary adjustments. Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration related area, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree Experience: Three (3) years’ experience in Human Resources, Compensation, Project Management, Analysis, Budget, Finance, HRIS or other related experience Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Prefer CCP, SHRM-CP or PHR certification Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite About Our District
