We are seeking a part-time Environmental Services Technician. This role promotes environmental protection by maintaining safe and healthy medical facilities for employees and visitors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Performing complete cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, sanitizing, washing windows, walls, ceilings, vents, light fixtures, sweeping, scrubbing, refinish floors, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, restocking restrooms, replacing light bulbs, and reporting repairs.
Assisting with outdoor cleaning tasks such as parking lot, windows, and roof maintenance, which may involve ladder use.
Handling cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, floor strippers, and finishes.
Removing waste by collecting and transporting soiled linen, emptying trash, changing sharps containers, transporting waste to compactors, recycling, and emptying cigarette receptacles.
Keeping equipment clean and reporting mechanical issues.
Maintaining a safe work environment by following procedures, rules, infection control guidelines, and meeting quality standards.
Attending required training and education sessions.
Meeting time schedules and deadlines consistently.
Qualified candidates should have:
Preferred: High school diploma or GED
Preferred: One year of experience
Ability to prioritize tasks and operate equipment
Ability to establish cooperative relationships with coworkers
This role involves repetitive work, working in contaminated or construction areas, sometimes in extreme temperatures or unpleasant odors, and exposure to individuals with various health conditions.
