Overview
Environmental Services Technician II at TriHealth. Under the direct supervision of the floor supervisor, this position maintains all hard surface floors, carpet, wall washing, ceiling vents, lights, waste removal, and will move furniture, equipment, and arrange room sets, and other projects as assigned. Completes assigned tasks for periodic housekeeping following departmental policies and procedures, including washing walls, cleaning windows, screens, blinds, cleaning and re-hanging draperies, cubicles and privacy curtains, cleaning air conditioners, vents, lights, cleaning elevators and completing other projects as assigned. Completes assigned tasks related to house calls in a responsible manner as directed, including replacing burnt out lights, exchanging beds and mattresses, moving furniture and assisting in set ups; taking down and re-hanging draperies and cubicles, and cleaning all equipment used in the completion of the tasks. Completes assignments within specified timeframes and informs the supervisor of the need for deviation from assignments or schedules; follows established lunch and break times. Performs other tasks to ensure the finished product meets department standards. Follows schedule for the transport and disposal of solid and infectious waste following department policies and procedures while maintaining a clean environment. Performs floor care procedures including dust/wet mopping, rinsing, stripping and refinishing, buffing, carpet shampooing and extraction, operation and maintenance of floor care equipment, detailing corners and coves, using appropriate products and adhering to safety precautions.
