If you are offered a position that requires a background check you will be provided additional documentation to complete once an offer has been extended*.****Job Details:****Summary**This role is crucial for ensuring environmental compliance and maintaining the efficiency of our wastewater treatment processes. Your responsibilities will include:* **Operation of Wastewater Analysis Laboratory**: Perform chemical analyses and system adjustments.* **Maintenance of Wastewater Systems**: Oversee wastewater collection, pre-treatment, and full treatment systems.* **Regulatory Compliance**: Collect samples and conduct analyses in accordance with EPA, state, and health department regulations.* **Data Management**: Complete computerized reports and compile monthly reports as required by permits, state authorities, EPA, or corporate management.* **Technical Skills**: Utilize basic organizational, mechanical, and electrical wiring skills.* **Communication**: Properly communicate operational status to upper management and maintain operation logs.* **Equipment Operation**: Operate spotter trucks and forklifts, and perform minor to major maintenance on equipment.* **General Duties**: Engage in grounds keeping, painting, and general housekeeping tasks as needed.**Requirements****Education**: High School diploma or equivalent**Experience**: 1+ years of wastewater experience preferred.**Computer Skills**: Basic computer skills with knowledge in Word and Excel.**Communication Skills**: Good interpersonal and communication skills are critical.**Certification**:* Must successfully complete basic industrial wastewater training certification.* Must obtain wastewater treatment operator license.**Other Requirements**:* Must have a valid driver's license.* Will be required to pass a state wastewater operator exam.* Must meet and maintain the minimum qualification levels as required by state regulations.**Physical Requirements**:* Physical lifting of heavy objects (50-75 pounds).* Climbing and/or descending stairs or ladders.* Working in unsanitary conditions.* Working with hazardous chemicals.**Supervisory**: None**Schedule*** **1st Shift:** Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM* **3rd Shift**: Sunday to Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM**Highly recommended to include a resume in a PDF or Word Document format.**We offer a full range of benefits and perks including:* Medical, dental, and vision insurance* Telehealth services* Well-Being Support Programs* FSA and HSA available* 401k* Stock Purchase Plan* Company Paid Life Insurance* Short-Term & Long- Term Disability* Fully Funded Education* Discount Program**Relocation Assistance Eligible:**No**Work Shift:**ALL SHIFTS (United States of America)Hourly Applicants ONLY -You must complete the task after submitting your application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.Tyson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
