Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Exeter, PA. This role is ideal for a dependable technician with a strong background in construction equipment maintenance, diagnostics, and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on a wide range of heavy equipment.
• Identify and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and performance.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, or technical training/certification.
• 3 - 5 years of experience working as a heavy equipment mechanic repairing construction equipment.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Experience utilizing computer diagnostic software programs such as Cummins Insite, J-Pro, or Altec.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL is preferred but not a requirement.

Work Schedule:

• Day shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday to Friday.
