This role serves as a subject matter expert and strategic partner, ensuring that benefit offerings are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with organizational goals.**Duties and Responsibilities*** Administer and manage employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, etc.)* Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries from employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders.* Assist with annual open enrollment processes, including system testing, employee communications, and employee enrollment.* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA).* Benefit reporting to analyze data, monthly billing reconciliations, and verify accuracy of enrollment data with outside vendors* Partner with payroll and HRIS teams to ensure accurate benefits deductions and data integrity.* Support audits, filings, and reporting requirements (e.g., 5500s, ACA reporting).* Assist in the development and delivery of employee education and wellness programs.**Qualifications and Education Requirements*** Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred* 5+ years’ experience with administration of benefit programs* Strong knowledge of benefits laws and regulations.**Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge*** Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate to various levels of employees and management.* Solid analytical capabilities, decision making skills and ability to exercise appropriate judgement.* Strong organization skills; ability to effectively prioritize workflow from multiple sources.* Able to collaborate effectively with team and other departments as needed.* Ability to multi-task, work with a sense of urgency and flex to the work style of others.* High learning agility; strong initiative; self-starter with a positive attitude.* Strong sense of integrity and ability to effectively manage and maintain confidentiality of information.* Self-directed; accountable.* Solid financial acumen; skills in MS Word and Excel required; proficiency with PowerPoint preferred.* Experience with benefit administration platforms; working knowledge of Workday preferred.**Additional Information**While this description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the position’s requirements, it in no way implies/states that these are the only job responsibilities.
