Our client is looking for a Compliance Analyst responsible for supporting hospital compliance program initiatives, focusing on investigations, reporting, auditing, and monitoring within the hospital. Skills or Special Abilities
Ability to write clear, detailed reports on audits and investigations, including scope, conclusions, findings, risk analysis, and corrective actions. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences. Active listening skills and sound professional judgment. Excellent critical thinking skills to identify problems, determine root causes, and develop solutions. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage sensitive conversations and confidential information with objectivity and discretion. High integrity and adherence to ethical standards. Responsibilities
Support compliance initiatives, focusing on investigations, reporting, auditing, and monitoring activities. Research regulatory requirements and guidance. Prepare communications, assessment tools, and reports. Collect, analyze, and summarize information for investigations and audits. Schedule and facilitate compliance meetings and activities. Organize compliance materials and manage electronic files and data entry. Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Assist in corrective action and remediation activities. Participate in compliance risk assessments and work planning. Support other compliance activities and respond to inquiries from third parties, including government agencies. Prepare reports on compliance activities for committees. Collaborate with team members professionally and approachable. Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree required. Minimum two years' healthcare compliance experience, preferably in large healthcare organizations or academic medical centers. Experience with investigations, audits, monitoring, and corrective plans. Certification in healthcare compliance or ethics is required, with the ability to obtain or renew certifications within specified timeframes. Certifications
Must be currently certified and in good standing with one of the following or obtain within 18 months: CHC, CCEP, CHPC, CHRC, CPCO, CPC, COC, CIC, CCS, or other relevant certifications. Additional Details
