R\_00091552**Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!**# Responsibilities:* Perform on-site installation, removal, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical seals and seal support systems* Support customers during commissioning/startup and shutdown of pumps, compressors, and other rotating equipment.* Investigate and resolve seal failures and equipment performance issues in partnership with Reliability, Claims, and Sales teams.* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for seal-related issues in the field.* Deliver hands-on training to end users on mechanical seal operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.* Identify recurring service trends and communicate insights to internal teams to drive continuous improvement.* Serve as the technical, customer-facing resource for complex service challenges at industrial sites.* Support aftermarket sales efforts by recognizing new opportunities during site visits.# Qualifications:* Direct experience with mechanical seal installation, removal, and troubleshooting (required).* 5–10 years in a field service, maintenance, or rotating equipment role.* Strong mechanical aptitude; vocational training or technical certifications preferred.* Familiarity with pumps, compressors, and other rotating equipment.* Skilled in real-time problem-solving and independent fieldwork with minimal supervision.* Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic reporting.* Ability to meet physical and travel requirements (up to 75%, lift 50 lbs., industrial environments).The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
