Flexible to work between 7:00am and 6:00pm

Summary

The Occupational Therapist utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate, assess, and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate, assess, and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.
• Communicates effectively with patients, family members, and team members as needed.
• Performs appropriate documentation and provides patient/family education.
• Supervises COTA/L, volunteers, or students as per OT regulations.
• Performs other duties as required.

Technical Expertise

• Experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred.
• Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required; Master's degree is preferred.
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current Ohio state licensure are required.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience required.
