Provide dockside guest service and ensuring all facilities are maintained, safe and secure.

Duties And Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide the highest level of customer service to all patrons and staff members
• Provide safety and general information in a friendly courteous manner
• Follow established opening and closing procedures
• Check and cast-off boats
• Maintain cleanliness of the dock, facilities, or any assigned area
• Maintain and secure dock equipment and supplies
• Sets up and transports equipment and supplies as needed
• Notifies upper management regarding any inquiries and complaints from guests as well as any facility and/or equipment needing repairs or maintenance
• Knowledge of the company’s general information
• Knowledge of the rules and regulations of the dock area
• Basic Knowledge of the 1000 North food & beverage menu and specifications
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
• Maintain a positive, pleasant, attitude every shift
• Ability to work under all types of weather conditions and surfaces including but not limited to uneven, wet, slippery surfaces
• Personal appearance must be kept clean, neat, well-groomed, and in the provided uniform
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Experience/Training: Must possess working knowledge of boat safety and maintenance, prior customer service experience; preferably as a Dock Attendant
• Language Ability: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and reading skills; people and hospitality orientation
• Availability: Work various shirts, weekends, events, and holidays
• Work Environment: Walk, bend, climb, stand, lift, carry, stoop, and wipe; may remain stationary for long periods of time; be able to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent washing of the hands
