Shift: 5am-1:30pm

Note: This description reflects the Manufacturing Operator I role and related responsibilities and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Manufacturing Lead with all manufacturing activities, including production, quality, shipping, receiving, and other production-related tasks.
  • Set up production supplies in preparation before executing orders.
  • Safely and effectively operate equipment for production processing.
  • Perform daily maintenance of equipment to keep it in good and safe working condition.
  • Work under the guidance of the supervisor to complete assigned duties on time.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and company policies during equipment operation.
  • Participate in waste management programs daily.
  • Identify and report any unsafe operations immediately to the supervisor.
  • Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized throughout the day.
  • Undergo regular reviews of daily output by the manufacturing lead or supervisor.
  • Clean equipment as needed during daily operations.
  • Escalate issues to the Senior Manufacturing Operator or above as appropriate.
  • Assist with and complete training on manufacturing batch records and NBRs, and on SAP functions.
  • Support a collaborative working environment and be flexible to work a variety of schedules to meet business needs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2 years’ manufacturing experience, preferably in an FDA-regulated or similar environment.
  • 1 year’s experience in SAP preferred.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new directions or responsibilities as needed.
  • Knowledge of cGMPs in an FDA-regulated environment, OSHA, and NFPA1 guidelines for safe practices.
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify solutions and implement methods and procedures for resolution.
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly work area; highly organized, logical, and methodical.
