Overview

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee our manufacturing processes at our Green Bay area plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be driven to succeed with minimal direction, and be a self-starter. This individual is expected to motivate the team to do the same and achieve the "RINGSPANN standard."

Responsibilities

• Proficiency with SAP
• Daily management of the machine shop
• Participate in production planning
• Creating job routings
• Purchasing of consumables
• Managing all shop staff as direct reports
• Troubleshooting issues with machines
• Coordinating with all departments
• Tracking on-time delivery performance
• Responsible for continuous improvement efforts
• Coordinating new machine justification efforts
• Responsible for shop safety with support from Franklin Park plant
• Participate in facility planning activities to support capacity growth
• Coordinating general shop activities, i.e., running the shop effectively, managing/scheduling the staff, creating work instructions, understanding manufacturing processes, maintaining machines, participating in weekly production meetings, surging resources where needed to accomplish tasks, optimizing workflows, troubleshooting all matters regarding manufacturing, recruiting/training new staff

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in manufacturing management
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, SAP, and experience with CAM software is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and coordination skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to continuous improvement and efficiency
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
