About the Role:
We are seeking a Financial Data Integration Analyst to join our our team on a temporary (3 months), full-time basis. In this role, you will help connect HR systems and financial platforms, ensuring accurate, timely, and secure data flow across payroll, benefits, time-tracking, and accounting systems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, systems, and cross-functional teams within the HR and finance space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data integrations between HRIS/payroll systems (e.g. ADP, Paylocity, Workday), financial systems (e.g. NetSuite, Xero, SAP), and other business tools (e.g. HubSpot, Monday, PowerBi).
- Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to improve reporting and analytics.
- Reconcile financial and HR data to ensure accuracy across payroll, benefits, and general ledgers.
- Develop dashboards and reports to support client projects, audits, and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with HR consultants, finance teams, and IT staff to gather requirements and align system integrations.
- Support system implementations or migrations, including data mapping and technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data integration or financial analysis, ideally within HR, payroll, or consulting environments.
- Hands-on experience with integration tools such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Talend, SSIS, or scripting languages such as SQL or Python.
- Proficiency with HR and financial systems such as ADP, Paylocity, Workday, QuickBooks, or NetSuite.
- Strong understanding of payroll cycles, general ledger accounting, and HR compliance reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an HR consulting or professional services environment.
- Familiarity with API-based data connections and cloud integration architectures.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) related to employee and financial data.
