We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Dock Worker to assist staff in the collection and distribution of live lobsters at our wharf in Rockland, Maine.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Dock Worker to assist staff in the collection and distribution of live lobsters at our wharf in Rockland, Maine.
A typical day at the Dock may include:
- Communicating daily with the location supervisor about daily plans, issues, challenges or concerns
- Coordinating with others so lobsters are handled efficiently and always with quality in mind
- Maintaining the dock's daily needs to operate, including handling crates, pallets, ice, bait, fuel, etc.
- Load trucks and trailers in an organized manner so destination can easily identify different lots (must be able to lift 20+ pounds)
- Generate documentation for all transactions and maintain organized records (bills of lading, load sheets, crate slips, etc.)

- No prior experience required, but some exposure to the lobster industry are a plus
- A willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent
