What You’ll Do
- Sweep and mop corridors, rooms, and staircases
- Strip, wax, and buff floors in corridors and rooms
- Clean bathrooms, including mirrors, sinks, urinals, toilet bowls, showers, and walls
- Clean walls and windowsills
- Pick up and remove garbage
- Move furniture as needed
- Assist with deliveries
- Ensure equipment is clean and stocked at the end of the day
- Perform other assignments as needed
You’re a Great Fit If You
- Have a Valid Driver’s License (must be able to drive a golf cart through a park)
- Are familiar with all aspects of cleaning and cleaning equipment
- Can stand for extended periods of time
- Can repeatedly lift and move 50–75 pounds
- Can work any day of the week, including weekends
- Can follow directions with minimal supervision
- Are dependable and work well in a team environment
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Can continuously monitor the cleanliness of assigned areas
Compensation
- $23.17 hourly
Details about the role
- Company: Fedcap Rehabilitation Services
- Location: Lower Manhattan – West Side
- Shifts: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 12:00 Midnight (5 days/week, may include weekends)
- Salary: $23.17/hour + Weekend Differential
- Reports To: Site Supervisor or Management Designee
- License Required: Valid Driver’s License (must be able to drive a golf cart through a park)
- Education: High School Diploma required
- Experience: At least 3 to 5 years of Janitorial/Cleaning Experience (stripping, buffing, and waxing floors a plus)
