Executive summary: HRUCKUS is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer with a TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph to support an Information Assurance Program in Fort Meade, MD.
Position Description
The successful candidate will participate in the development and evaluation of system engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, security requirements, and security testing documents.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of specific components of complex hardware/software systems, including requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, and performing technical and non-technical assessments.
- Support planning and test analysis of the DoD Certification/Accreditation Process (as well as other Government Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes).
- Perform cybersecurity high assurance evaluation activities, including reviews of security evaluation documents and other high assurance artifacts to ensure devices meet security requirements.
- Attend and participate in security-related meetings and reviews to translate vulnerability knowledge into guidance to prevent and/or manage risk.
- Document security deficiencies identified in artifact evaluations and documents; recommend clarifications and process/template improvements to mitigate security concerns.
Required Skills
- Fourteen (14) years of System Engineering experience
- Bachelor's Degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university (five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree)
- Information Assurance/Cryptographic experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and lead small teams
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Clearance required
Desired Skills
- Experience in Space/Weapon/Ground/Terminal system development and/or evaluation
- DoD Certification/Accreditation Process (and other Government C&A processes)
- Experience in Space System Engineering
