Overview The Colonnade Hotel is seeking a Night Auditor for a full-time position. Hours are 11:00 PM–7:30 AM. Must have hotel night audit or front desk experience to be considered. Nestled among Boston's Back Bay, The Colonnade Hotel features 285 rooms and suites, a rooftop pool, and is part of Summit Hotels & Resorts. Responsibilities Process guest registrations including collection of payment. Ensure that transactions are posted and balanced with cash, checks, and credit on hand; secure deposits and receipts. Maintain presence at the Front Desk during night hours. Protect hotel assets by securing outside access to the property. Balance all cashier audits according to requirements; create adjustment reviews for back-up. Complete night audit pack reports and prepare the front desk for the following day’s operations. Ensure that transactions posted balance with cash, checks, and credit on hand. Demonstrate excellent computer skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with little supervision. Requirements MUST HAVE PREVIOUS NIGHT AUDIT OR FRONT DESK EXPERIENCE. Accounting or finance background is a plus. Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and an organized systematic thinker.
