Position Overview:
The Nurse Practitioner will play a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with a wide range of neurological conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform neurological evaluations, review patient histories, and assist with diagnostic and treatment planning
Provide follow-up and ongoing management for patients with chronic neurological disorders
Support inpatient neurology consultations as needed
Collaborate closely with supervising neurologists, nurses, and allied health professionals
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR system
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care plans
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Licensed or eligible for licensure in Maryland
Prior neurology experience preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Strong clinical and interpersonal communication skills
