Join to apply for the OVERNIGHT Warehouse Supervisor role at Vistar. Green Rabbit, recently acquired by Performance Food Group and working under their Vistar Retail Segment, is a cold storage facility looking for an OVER-NIGHT Warehouse Supervisor.
Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday, 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM.
Position Purpose
Responsible for supervising warehouse personnel in receiving product, pulling orders, loading trucks for next-day delivery, and processing related paperwork. Ensures efficient and accurate warehouse operations while maintaining a safe work environment. Functions as a team member within the department and organization as required and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise warehouse and administrative staff including hiring, scheduling, training, establishing job standards, and evaluating performance.
- Lead and manage associates with confidence and accountability, fostering a productive overnight team.
- Monitor and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure orders are fulfilled and trucks are dispatched on time, maintaining customer satisfaction and operational reliability.
- Work autonomously, making quick decisions and adjusting plans as needed to maintain efficiency and service quality.
- Manage wave planning and execution to ensure optimal workflow throughout the shift.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and complete order pulling; verify that all orders are loaded in sequence and in full, and that all paperwork is properly completed.
- Oversee product receiving and stocking, ensuring proper rotation and adherence to first-in/first-out procedures.
- Promote strong service quality through personal example and clear communication of expectations to associates.
- Coordinate pick planning with the Warehouse Manager.
- Utilize the Company’s Warehouse Management System and available technologies to plan daily volume, maximize productivity, and analyze performance data.
- Maintain warehouse security, including locking the facility and setting alarms after the night shift.
- Ensure safe operation of all material handling equipment and compliance with Company health and safety programs.
- Promote a culture of safety by reinforcing guidelines during daily team meetings and ongoing observations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- 2 - 4 years of warehouse or related experience.
Compensation
68,000 - 72,000
