Overview

Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, X-raySelenium with Java Automation. Must have test automation experience, automation frameworks and test design automation. Working as an Automation QE analyst in Selenium with Java, automation framework understanding, web services API concepts, responsible for creation of test automation strategy, and collaboration with enterprise on framework selection and implementation at portfolio level using best practices and automation tools stack.

Manage the QE team with requirement clarification and automation approach. Develop an automated testing solution with a focus on optimized test coverage, service virtualization, high performance, and easy maintainability. Strong knowledge and experience in Java and Selenium. Working knowledge of Git/Bitbucket. Working knowledge of BDD. Must have experience testing REST and SOAP APIs. Experience with software delivery methodologies (Agile). Familiar with Client ALM, JIRA, and Confluence. Responsible for monitoring and reporting of testing defects and the re-testing process. Validation and presentation of test results for internal sign-off. Expertise in Agile project delivery methodology and ability to learn and work with evolving methodologies. Experience in testing processes to define requirements, document user stories and test scripts through to test execution. Ability to provide updates on SCRUM calls and demo walkthroughs to operations post signoff. Actively contributes to project team meetings with timely updates and keeps stakeholders informed for escalations. Should be able to understand requirements and ask valid questions if required. Should be able to deliver as per acceptance criteria. Should be excellent in problem solving and analytical skills. Should be able to deliver as per the timeline.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement test automation strategy aligned with portfolio needs.
• Collaborate with enterprise teams to select appropriate frameworks and tools.
• Develop automated testing solutions focusing on coverage, performance, and maintainability.
• Lead and manage the QE team with requirement clarification and automation approach.
• Design and maintain automated tests for REST and SOAP APIs.
• Integrate automation with Agile delivery processes and tools (ALM, JIRA, Confluence).
• Monitor, report, and re-test defects; validate test results for internal sign-off.
• Contribute to SCRUM ceremonies and provide demos to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java and Selenium; automation frameworks and test design.
• Experience with Cucumber, Postman, and API testing (REST and SOAP).
• Proficient with Git/Bitbucket and knowledge of BDD.
• Experience with Agile software delivery methodologies; familiarity with Client ALM, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Ability to interpret requirements, write user stories and test scripts, and execute tests.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; ability to meet timelines.
