Position & Compensation

Emp Status: Regular Full time

Compensation Range: The base pay scale for this position is $34.74 - $35.91. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

  • Experience with Epic Medical Records System (required); strong computer skills required as well

  • Experience with surgical scheduling (preferred)

  • Typing 45-60 words per minute and strong organizational strengths (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education – Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree preferred.

Minimum years of experience: 0 healthcare/medical secretary experience (required); 2 years preferred

Work Environment

Sitting with opportunities to move about the department and traverse the hospital campus. Located in a comfortable indoor area. OSHA Category 3 hazards; tasks involve no exposure to blood or infectious materials as a condition of employment.
