RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
- Audit Management: Complete and distribute all hotel audit-related reports by the designated time on the overnight checklist.
- Security: Follow overnight security measures to ensure a safe environment for all team members and guests, including locking exterior entrances at the designated times and handling late arriving guests according to protocols.
- Guest Relations & Hospitality: Maintain a welcoming presence with guests; use guests\' names when possible; greet guests with a smile and provide friendly service.
- Hotel Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities; support groups and events as needed.
- Technology & Communication: Understand relevant technology for the role; ensure clear, professional communication; prepare shift handover reports accurately and on time.
- Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain spotless cleanliness and well-organized workspaces; contribute to cleaning as needed to maintain safety and orderliness.
- Checklists & Handover: Complete operational checklists with 100% accuracy and deliver handover reports on time for effective shift-to-shift communication.
SUCCESS METRICS
- Happy Guests: Management performance ratings; guest satisfaction scores and intent to return.
- Spotless Cleanliness: GM/AGM spot checks; leadership walk-throughs; guest ratings and reviews.
- Product Consistency & Quality: Checklist tracking; management performance ratings; guest ratings.
- Teamwork: Management performance ratings and collaborative teamwork.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
- Can-Do Attitude: Positive outlook and willingness to learn.
- Ability to Follow Guidelines: Understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
- Handle Pace and Pressure: Ability to work well under stress.
- Listening & Conflict Resolution: Effective listening, understanding, and resolving concerns of co-workers and guests.
- Communication Skills: Clear conveyance of information and ideas.
- Hospitality & Guest Service: Desire to serve all guests.
- Age Requirement: 18 years or older.
- Schedule & Travel: Varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Clock-in/Out & Breaks: Timely clock-in/out; clock breaks as scheduled; do not work off the clock.
- Call Outs: Provide sufficient notice when calling out as directed by supervisor.
