Opportunity highlights

Partner & Lead Veterinarian Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of California 4+ years of experience as a veterinarian required Leadership/management experience is a plus Ability to lead the team through a variety of cases Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets Compassionate team player who can uphold a great reputation with clients Comfortable providing (and teaching associate veterinarians) general surgery and dentistry procedures
Partner & Lead Veterinarian Responsibilities
Build a strong client-first and collaborative practice culture Hire hospital staff to include a hospital manager, veterinary technician, and other hospital support staff in partnership with SVP talent acquisition and operational support teams Deliver excellent patient care and ongoing evaluation and management of clinical practices Ensure doctors effectively communicate physical examination findings, diagnosis, and treatment plan, and educate clients on preventative care Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and keep necessary logs up-to-date Monitor associate doctor performance and stay up-to-date with changes in veterinary medicine through continuing education Assist in developing the paraprofessional team to deliver quality care and exceptional client service Ensure all staff treat clients and patients with care and respect Partner with the Hospital Manager in managing hospital financial performance Positively represent the hospital in the professional and local community
