Description
Overview The Programmer/Analyst IV will be responsible for a variety of duties in support of the Company’s Virtual OneStop (VOS) software solution. The role works closely with other team members in an Agile environment and is focused on timely delivery of new development, maintenance incidents, configuration tasks, setup tasks, responding to customer questions, data change requests, and other duties as assigned by the Team Lead. Viable candidates must be willing to work onsite at GSI\'s headquarters in Palm Harbor, Florida daily.
Responsibilities
Performs work independently under minimal supervision
Maintain web applications
Design and build applications using Microsoft .NET technologies
Migrate internally developed applications to latest Microsoft .NET technologies
Troubleshoot and debug development and production issues
Perform tests to identify system/software defects
Follow design specs
Apply best practices
Read specifications and design software solutions
Mentoring
Create design specs
Interface with subject matter experts to gather requirements
Perform technical interviews
Work Experience / Knowledge
Experience with migrating legacy applications to .NET Platform
Experience writing and debugging ASP.NET Web Forms applications
Experience using Team Foundation Server
Experience with JavaScript and libraries (jQuery, Bootstrap, Mustache; AngularJS is a plus)
Experience with WCF/REST Services, Web API, and mobile development is a plus
7–10 years of ASP.NET programming
Qualifications / Certifications
A Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience is required
A degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems is a plus
MCSD / MCPD Certifications is a plus

Team Foundation Server
.NET Framework
Agile
Preferred Technical Experience
Web API is a plus
WCF Service is a plus
