Responsibilities: Medical Software Test Strategical Planning:

planning, executing, and reporting software testing activities based on standards (IEC 62304, software development lifecycle management, ISO 13485, overall quality management system, ISO 14971, risk management) Leading and Collaboration:

working with software testing engineers, system testing engineers, software development groups, and hardware development groups to plan and execute testing Quality Assurance and Compliance:

leading the effort to produce medical software quality assurance related documents and ensuring timely delivery of documents for each development stage Defect Management and Accurate Status Reporting:

creating, updating, and reviewing defects with DRB members Qualifications and experience: 8+ years of experience in medical software quality assurance and software testing strong understanding of medical software QA methodologies, tools, and processes experience in at least one round of software product development life cycle, delivering all SW QA documents for each software lifecycle stage ability to work with cross-functional projects, planning and executing testing, and resolving issues strong communication and collaboration skills experience in transforming manual test cases and procedures to automated testing Work location: required to work in either Santa Monica or Malibu, 100% on-site, due to device hardware access less than 10% travel time Horizon Surgical Systems Inc. is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.
