Overview
Commercial Account Manager at BMS CAT. This role focuses on calling on and building relationships with a broad variety of customers to become their preferred provider when disaster strikes. You will market to facilities managers, building engineers, property management and ownership groups that control large commercial spaces across sectors such as hospitality, retail, high-rise buildings, government, education, medical facilities and multi-family real estate. This is a high-energy, fast-paced position where no two days are the same. Location

Prepare and execute the overall strategic plan for business development and account management Prospect and set up appointments Prepare for and attend meetings with local commercial accounts and National Accounts with local presence Identify and call on National and Regional prospects to maximize revenue opportunities Manage the tracking of local marketing efforts in the assigned region Assist with collection efforts regionally and nationally Coordinate with the BMS CAT marketing department to set up and attend industry-specific tradeshows, presentations, and meetings Work with the operations team to facilitate client communication and issue resolution if required Communicate effectively in high-stress situations Maintain local memberships in industry-specific organizations as applicable Utilize and manage CRM to keep all client information up-to-date and all activities current Support operations in selling efforts by providing internal support (documentation, communication, setting customer expectations, and potential jobsite assistance) Maintain and execute corporate reporting needs Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain solid relationships Attention to detail Solid presentation skills for individuals and groups Ability to both lead a team and work as a productive team member Highly organized Self-motivated Experience in business development/account management is a plus Compensation
We offer a base salary plus commission/bonus. Compensation varies by experience level and can be discussed during the first interview.
