Job Description
As a Security Professional at a chemical/petrochemical facility, you will:
Monitor entry and exit points and conduct routine patrols; maintain visibility to deter security incidents.
Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication.
Use observational skills and attention to detail to maintain a secure environment; work with a team that values reliability, agility, and integrity.
What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites.
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education.
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams.
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service.
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise.
Responsibilities
Assist with access control duties at the location, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to deter unauthorized access.
Provide customer service by communicating site-specific policies and procedures to employees, visitors, and contractors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter; report unusual activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities per Allied Universal procedures.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including supporting evacuation or shelter-in-place procedures when appropriate.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to maintain a secure chemical/petrochemical environment.

Availability across various days and shifts.
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company.
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available.
Minimum Requirements
Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by TSA.
Valid driver's license in the state where the job is located for driving positions.
State, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
