Job Summary:
TRC Companies, Inc. is a pioneering engineering firm dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for clients in various sectors. The Office Engineer will play a crucial role in managing water and wastewater construction projects, providing project administration, document control services, and technical support while collaborating with contractors and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Assist Construction Manager with day-to-day management of construction projects
Review and analyze project documents, including drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance and identify any potential issues or conflicts.
Review, log, and maintain project related documents including, but not limited to, daily inspection reports, tests reports and data, meeting minutes, schedules, RFIs, submittals, progress payment applications and change orders, as-built drawings, and final construction reports.
Under the direction and supervision of the Construction Manager, prepares correspondence, reports, and recommendations concerning construction issues.
Utilize project/construction management software and tools such as MS Office, Procore, Adobe Acrobat.
Other duties, as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering related field or construction management.
0 - 2 years Office Engineer experience with knowledge of water/wastewater projects, preferred.
In-depth knowledge of rail construction techniques, materials, and industry standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with a collaborative team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively manage potential issues that arise in construction.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Familiarity with application safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
Must have a valid driver's license.
