Our client is a multi-million dollar, global, industry-leading thermal technology manufacturer with over 13,000 employees operating on 4 continents. For more than 100 years, they have served the Automotive, Truck, Off-Highway/Construction, and HVAC&R industries with cutting-edge customized heating and cooling solutions. Summary We are recruiting a Plant Quality Manager to build and lead the quality function at our client’s new manufacturing facility for data center cooling and infrastructure products. This role is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive quality system from the ground up, ensuring compliance, consistency, and driving continuous improvement throughout the launch and growth of their operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement plant-level quality systems, procedures, and documentation aligned with industry and customer standards. Lead all aspects of quality control, quality assurance, and incoming/outgoing inspection processes. Support start-up activities including PPAPs, process validations, and quality documentation for new product introductions. Collaborate with engineering and operations to define process controls and resolve quality issues at the root cause. Establish plant metrics and reporting systems to monitor and improve quality performance. Lead internal audits and coordinate preparation for external and customer audits. Drive continuous improvement in quality using Lean and Six Sigma tools. Train, mentor, and develop quality technicians and inspectors. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial equipment production. Experience implementing quality systems in a plant start-up or ramp-up environment. Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant industry quality standards. Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to root cause analysis and corrective action. Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and guide teams.
