This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance, including Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of our growing quality team, this role will partner with our calibration engineer to ensure the measurement & test equipment used to build space vehicles and rocket engines are calibrated and cycled on schedule. Perform calibration of measurement & test equipment in a lab environment. Manage calibration work queues to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner. Maintain physical and digital organization of work to ensure efficiency in the calibration lab. Utilize multiple data systems to determine and fulfill customer requirements. Maintain accuracy of calibrated item data & status. Assess calibration documentation provided by 3rd party vendors for compliance. Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in Calibration. HS Diploma + calibration related technical training. Familiarity with the operation of measurement and test equipment. Comfortable utilizing a computer to maintain, organize & track technical information. Desired
Military PMEL or Post-Secondary metrology training Experience with industry calibration standards (ANSI NCSL Z540.3, ISO/IEC 17025) Experience with industry quality and configuration control system methodologies (AS9100, ISO:9001) Experience developing, operating and maintaining calibration systems & procedures Experience in customer service Compensation
