Overview

We’re a small, fast-growing robotics startup on a mission to build robots that can actually handle the real world. First stop: dexterity. We’re designing the ultimate robotic hand — a general-purpose, unlimited-DOF platform built for physical AI control. You’ll work closely with the CEO and a tight-knit team of ambitious builders who move fast, think big, and care deeply about what they’re creating. Responsibilities

Develop and deploy new algorithms for robot dexterity, manipulation, and control Conduct research across RL, IL, control, perception, LLM/VLM, and multimodal learning Train and fine-tune large-scale models for robotic applications Implement learning-based policies and evaluate them on real robot platforms Work across hardware and software to enable robust manipulation skills Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring research into production Publish and present results internally and externally Requirements

Ph.D. (or equivalent experience) in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 3+ years of independent research experience Strong background in robot learning (RL, IL, or related areas) Demonstrated research excellence (publications in RSS, CoRL, ICRA, NeurIPS, ICML, etc.) Proficiency in Python and modern deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) Experience with real robot experimentation Familiarity with simulators (Isaac Gym/Sim, MuJoCo, Drake, or SAPIEN) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Passion for building intelligent robots that can learn and adapt Compensation
