Overview
The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist committed to an academic career in Gynecology & Obstetrics. The position will hold a rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics is part of Emory University’s School of Medicine and Emory Healthcare, a comprehensive health system with access to state-of-the-art resources and tools. Responsibilities
Provide consultative services for the General obstetricians in the treatment of obstetric and maternal-fetal medicine concerns. Supervise sonographers assigned to the clinical practice location. Participate in teaching activities within the Department, including lectures to fellows, residents, and medical students as requested. Attend Grand Rounds, M&M Conferences, Journal Club, Division meetings, and other departmental activities. Qualifications
Terminal degree (MD or DO). Successfully completed a 4-year ACGME-accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency program and a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship training program. Board Eligible or Board Certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Licensure by the Georgia Composite Medical Board will be required prior to commencement of employment.
