Fairfax Behavioral Health Position is Full-Time. Responsibilities
Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the recreation therapy team and assist the Director of Clinical Services in ensuring that the program is appropriate to the needs and interests of patients and directed toward restoring and maintaining optimal levels of psychosocial and physical functioning. Manage daily work schedules and assignments of team members and coordinate with other departments in the provision of programming. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Recreational Therapy / Leisure Studies. Experience: Two (2) years of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness (preferred). Licensure: Must have current Washington State CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) registration, or be eligible to sit for certification. Additional Requirements: Must obtain CPR, Handle with Care, Verbal De-Escalation, and First Aid Certification (training included in orientation). About Fairfax Behavioral Health
