Assistant Coach Cheerleading
The assistant coach assists the head coach in running a successful varsity cheer program which performs
and competes as an emerging sport in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division
III program and as a member of the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA). This mainly includes
recruiting student - athletes, assisting with practices, competition coaching, and mentoring our student -
athletes. The assistant must understand and promote the mission, goals, values and educational ideals
of Oxford College of Emory University.

Job Description Cheer/Dance Assistant Coach - Competition Choreography
Assist the Head Coach in developing and administering a competitive NJCAA Competition Cheer/Dance Program in accordance with NJCAA and University regulations. Main areas of responsibility include coaching and developing proper stunting techniques, tumblin g and choreography. Monitor student - athletes skill progress and provide feedback and motivation to help them improve their performance. Ensure that all training sessions are conducted in a safe and effective manner. This is a part - time (20 hours a week) position without benefits. Performs related responsibilities as required.
