Spalding University Job Summary Nursing Faculty are responsible for the instruction and supervision of Spalding University School of Nursing students in both the classroom and clinical settings. Responsibilities include course development, student evaluation, curriculum development, committee participation, and academic advising. The faculty collaborates with students, faculty, and staff to support the university’s mission of serving a diverse community. Medical-Surgical experience is required; Mental Health experience is a plus but not mandatory. Salary for this full-time position is $65,000 yearly, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage, 403b, 23 Paid Time Off days, and 21 Holidays. After one year, employees receive 100% tuition remission for undergraduate and graduate programs, with tuition discounts available for spouses/dependents. Duties and Responsibilities Develop, implement, and instruct didactic courses and clinicals. Supervise students in clinical settings. Evaluate student performance in various settings. Coordinate curriculum with faculty/staff. Provide timely feedback to students. Maintain student records per policies. Revise curriculum according to CCNE and KBN standards. Maintain teaching, advising, and service duties. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Educational Requirements Maintain professional development relevant to nursing education. Hold a master's degree in nursing from an accredited institution. Have at least two years of recent RN experience. Maintain an active, unencumbered Kentucky Nursing License. Interrelations Foster a climate of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Collaborate professionally with students and staff. Participate in committees and maintain office hours.
