About this opportunity The Corporate Accounting Senior Manager is responsible for all aspects of General Ledger accounting including review of balance sheet accounts and account reconciliations. In addition, the role is responsible for various corporate oversight and accounting activities. This position manages certain US accounting positions and reports to the Director, Accounting. In this role, you will… Coordinate the worldwide accounting close activities to ensure the consistency and accuracy of month end close under US GAAP, including maintaining the module closings in SAP and other dependent system tasks. Assist in establishing and publishing the Corporate Close calendar, facilitating the close timeline, acting as a liaison with international entities Manage and administer the corporate foreign currency rate set-up in SAP on monthly basis. Supervise functional areas of the general ledger, fixed asset accounting, prepaid accounting and select cash receipts accounting, managing the US staff in addition to supporting other corporate and international business partners as needed Possess an overall understanding of general accounting concepts and requirements and be able to identify accounting issues and assist in their resolution Assist with system issues identified and collobarate with IT and other teams in their resolution Review account reconciliations for areas of responsibility Provide global training for account reconciliations and general accounting best practices Assist with drafting and enforcing global policies that comply with US GAAP reporting. Manage master data changes (chart of accounts) and revaluation/translation configuration changes in SAP For quarterly reviews/annual audit, manage the coordination and preparation of the Consolidated Balance Sheet Quarterly Flux analysis Prepare Consolidated Statement of Cash Flows and Equity Roll-forward schedules Assist SEC reporting as needed with schedules and analysis Manage the Blackline system administrator role and ensure adequate monitoring of data loads, calendar maintenance, and data changes Support ERP projects including set-up of new legal entities, preparation of test scripts, review of test results and conversion of historical data In this role, you’ll need … 7-10+ years of general and international accounting experience; SOX process owner 3+ years of experience in internal and external reporting activities 4+ years of general and/or financial analysis 4+ years of management experience Excellent written, oral and communication skills to work with management and cross-functional groups Experience in developing and mentoring a team BS degree in accounting or finance required CPA required, preferably in active status Excellent written, oral and communication skills to work with management and cross-functional groups Proficiency in technical accounting matters and extensive experience in general accounting operations under US GAAP Ability to manage individuals and projects Ability to work independently and be results oriented Problem solver, system oriented and strong analytical skill Detail-oriented with effective organizational and time management skills Sound like a good fit?
