SFI is seeking a hands-on experienced individual to manage the day-to-day accounting and administrative functions of the company. This position offers significant personal and professional growth opportunities for the right candidate. Responsibilities
Responsible for accurate monthly financial reporting and annual external audits. Monthly reconciliation of material receipts to general ledger inventory activity. Collect and analyze job cost data and maintain company pricing matrices. Monthly preparation of product line margin and profitability analysis. Preparation and presentation of financial reports for ownership and BOD. Ensures collection and payment of applicable local, parish and state taxes. Responsible for monthly local, parish and state sales tax compliance and filings. Responsible for accurate and timely filing of property tax valuations. Backup for critical H/R, A/P and A/R functions including processing payroll. Additional duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required. 7-10 years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to analyze financial results and explain variances in a clear and concise manner. Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Advanced MS Suite and Excel skills (charts, pivots tables, and advanced formulas). Data visualization software knowledge and experience. Strong time management, organizational and analytical skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Deadline oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities. Must be extremely detail oriented. Benefits
