Strategic Selling: Build a diverse network to generate viable leads across markets, qualify leads through needs analysis, and collaborate to formulate competitive quotes that optimize client investment and gross profit.

Business Growth: Maintain annual sales plans and quarterly targets, provide monthly sales forecasts, and collaborate to pursue strategic opportunities.

Project Leadership + Execution: Attend pre-bid walkthroughs, coordinate at-pre-installation and site meetings, review plans and specifications, and manage delivery and installation timelines.

Client Relationship Management: Respond to inquiries, support order fulfillment, maintain regular client reporting, and ensure a high-quality client experience.

People and Culture Development: Coach the sales team and model core values.

Responsibilities Attend pre-bid walkthroughs and lead coordination efforts for projects.

Review site conditions, prepare proposals, and ensure accuracy of plans and specifications prior to order placement.

Serve as main contract point for activities, services, orders, and change orders; manage scope adjustments with mutual satisfaction.

Plan and supervise product delivery and installation; track task completion and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain weekly team touchpoints to ensure engagement and alignment.

Qualifications

Required – Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Two+ years’ experience in floor covering sales, project management, or installation lead role

Ability to read blueprints, conduct field verifications, site measurements, and flooring/site surveys

Proficient in project estimation, budget management, and product knowledge including pricing and applications

Strong written and verbal communication across audiences

Leadership potential and negotiation skills

Ability to manage multiple accounts/projects concurrently

Proven track record in project, client, and relationship management

Strategic thinking through the sales process

Self-motivated, flexible, with strong work ethic and problem-solving orientation

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred

Experience in contract flooring dealership or related industry

Ability to deliver effective presentations to varied audiences

Strong network with interior design and/or commercial general contractor communities

Experience with business software for inventory/order processing and analytics
