Location: Atlanta, GA Metroplex area. Travel within the region will be required for dealership visits, training, client meetings, and trade shows.
Salary: $100,000 plus commission; Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability and supplemental plans; 401(k) with match; PTO & Sick Time; paid holidays.
Position Summary The Assistant Regional Sales Manager supports the Regional Sales Manager in driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and managing sales initiatives within the designated region. This role involves supervising sales teams, ensuring the achievement of regional sales targets, promoting the company's range of automotive accessory parts, and managing a minimum of two dealerships within the region.
Key Responsibilities
Work directly with the Territory Sales Managers to train and lead them toward achieving their monthly sales objectives.
Assist in developing and implementing regional sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
Supervise and provide guidance to sales representatives and dealerships within the region.
Motivate the sales team to meet or exceed individual and team targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and dealers.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive accessory market to meet all sales objectives.
Ensure team compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Represent SWAG in markets with no TSM representation due to TSM absence or replacement.
Travel within the region to conduct dealership visit training with TSMs, meet clients, attend trade shows, and oversee sales activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the automotive accessories or related industry.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of automotive accessory products and market trends is a plus.
Must live in the Atlanta, GA Metroplex area.
Physical Demands Travel, driving, standing, walking, sitting; 8-hour work shift.
