Safeguarding Officer: Multi Agency Support Team At The Beacon we are always looking to be on the front foot with our positive relationships and communication with our community. Hours:
37 hours per week term time plus five INSET days (39 working weeks per year). Working hours will be agreed with the successful candidate and the team, covering core hours of 8am-5pm. Scale:
KSE Actual Salary £24,169 - £25,787 Role location and style
The successful candidate will join our highly skilled team Multi Agency Support Team and will be primarily based at our Fokestone site but will be required at points to work from our Walmer site. We are looking for a reliable, creative and resilient professional who can build strong boundaried relationships with parents, carers, teachers, support staff and external agencies and put the safeguarding of our young people at the forefront of all they do. We require proven experience in keeping children safe and, where necessary, reducing absence. The role is at the heart of supporting the young people in our community to thrive; if our children are safe and attending school regularly, they have the best chance to succeed and fulfil their ambition for life after The Beacon. We see this role as one of providing a holistic approach to supporting our young people and forming positive working relationships with families and young people. This is at the core of our safeguarding ethos. Responsibilities
