Description
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the HR department's operations by assisting with various HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, and record-keeping. The HR Coordinator acts as a resource for employees, providing information and support related to HR policies, procedures, and processes. Responsibilities
Answering employee questions, addressing concerns, and providing general HR support. Assisting with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations, and providing information to employees about benefits. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and HRIS data. Ensuring HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Providing general administrative support to the HR department, such as scheduling meetings, managing files, and preparing reports. Assist with the onboarding process; process I-9 documents and new hire paperwork, and ensure all necessary documents are processed and entered into the HRIS system accurately. Manage temp requests including liaising with staffing agencies, handling timecards, invoices, requests, and cancellations. Requirements
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred, not required 1+ years of direct or related experience Bilingual in Spanish and English are required Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in HR software and systems Knowledge of HR policies and procedures Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Key Competencies
