Overview
We are seeking a Litigation Attorney with at least 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on litigation experience and work on a variety of challenging cases. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with solid research, writing, and advocacy skills, and enjoys taking ownership of their cases from start to finish. Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute complex litigation matters from inception through trial.
Lead trial preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other necessary filings.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
Take and defend depositions, engage in settlement negotiations, and argue motions in court.
Develop case strategies, collaborate with colleagues, and oversee junior attorneys and support staff.
Represent clients in pre-trial and trial proceedings, including strategy development and client counseling.
Maintain a high level of client communication and provide sound legal advice to clients on complex issues.
Stay updated on changes in relevant laws, regulations, and case law to provide optimal client service.
Qualifications
2+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on complex litigation and trial preparation.
Proven experience in managing and preparing cases for trial.
Direct trial experience is a plus.
Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking.
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active CA Bar license.
