Job Description UW Medicine’s Nursing Development department has an outstanding opportunity for an Administrative Assistant

Work Schedule

8 hours per week

Day Shift

Position Highlights

Play a key role in supporting student placement processes and general office operations

Primary Job Responsibilities

Assist with student placement logistics and coordination

Perform administrative tasks including filing, tracking, data collection, and data entry into the Learning Management System (LMS)

Maintain accurate records of staff participation in continuing education programs

Coordinate supplies and equipment for nursing professional development activities

Provide excellent customer service in person, via email, and over the phone

Communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal formats

Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and accommodate unforeseen delays

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changing requirements and unexpected situations

Support a healthy work environment by resolving conflicts tactfully and escalating unresolved issues appropriately

Contribute to the growth and competency of team members

Exhibit accountability for personal development and completion of assigned responsibilities

Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications to produce high-quality work

Requirements

Requires High School/ GED AND two years of office or administrative support experience.

Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
