Overview Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join an established Nephrology group. This full-time position provides patient care at Tacoma area dialysis units, including Davita, Fresenius, and Northwest Kidney Center.
Responsibilities
Clinical management of patients
Patient education
Follow-up care
Interpretation of diagnostics
Medication management
Responding to patient questions on a variety of medical issues
Qualifications
Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current Washington State ARNP license
Candidates must have 1+ year of post-training experience as a Nurse Practitioner. Nephrology related experience is preferred.
Prior EPIC experience is a plus
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, dialysis unit staff, patients and their families
Excellent communication skills and professionalism
Strong commitment to patient care team concept and privacy guidelines
Pay $61.89 - $78.99 /hour
