We are seeking a

Mulesoft Migration Integration Architect / Engagement Manager (NYL Insurance)

to lead enterprise integration initiatives, API architecture, and solution delivery. This role requires deep expertise in MuleSoft ESB, CloudHub, and API management, along with strong experience in enterprise integration patterns, SOA/EAI technologies, and cross-system orchestration. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure integration solutions, overseeing all phases of the development lifecycle, and driving best practices in API-led connectivity. Key Responsibilities Oversee the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, transition, and ongoing support. Apply API-led connectivity concepts to business initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Lead design sessions and workshops for API development using MuleSoft. Ensure adherence to best practices including source code control, automated testing, deployment standards, and documentation. Architect, design, and implement MuleSoft APIs, preparing RAML specifications and documenting technical designs. Manage complex integration use cases involving multiple systems with robust error handling, logging, and scalability. Provide technical leadership in architectural discussions, performance tuning, clustering, and securing solutions. Support production deployments in hybrid environments (cloud, on-premise, and mixed). Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and enterprise architects to ensure integration solutions meet requirements and SLAs. Technical Profile 8+ years of hands-on experience architecting, leading, and delivering enterprise integration and API solutions. 2+ years of direct experience with MuleSoft ESB, CloudHub, and API Management. Deep knowledge of Mule ESB architecture, server administration, and hybrid deployments. Strong expertise in SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, HTTP, and internetworking concepts. Experience with MuleSoft connectors (Web Services, File, Database, Salesforce, JMS, AWS, etc.). Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines with Maven, Jenkins, Subversion, Git or similar toolsets. Experience with Java/JEE development and integration frameworks. Desirable: integration experience with ERP systems such as SAP or SAP S/4HANA. Functional Profile Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, SOA/EAI best practices, and development methodologies. Ability to lead cross-functional workshops, influence technical decisions, and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Skilled in documenting architecture specifications, design patterns, and integration blueprints. Experience in managing hybrid deployment models with attention to security, scalability, and compliance. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset, capable of resolving complex technical issues.
